- The Crystal Method's "Tweekend" - i was going to pick up the album at virgin megastore one day but i passed it up for some other albums... good thing though, 'cause i bought it at best buy a couple days later for two bucks less... but you know what? the album's so rad that i feel like sending the extra two bucks to guys that made the album! oiy! and eugene and i are going to see them in concert this thursday at the mayan theatre in downtown! wo-hoo! - Bikini Kill's "The Singles" - one of the two albums i bought instead of tweekend. way rad. twenty minutes of pure bliss. yeah, i know. but the fact that it kicks big donkey butt like no there's no tomorrah makes up for the fact that it's kinda short... - Radiohead's "Amnesiac" - okay. it's not really that great of an album, but i thought i'd include it since it's the other album i bought instead of tweekend at virgin megastore... maybe i just haven't given it much of a chance though... - Green Day's "Warning" - the lyrics are neat. almost makes leftist thought fashionable again... fuck george double-yuh! - Let's Go Bowling's "Mr. Twist" - you know, do they even have another album? besides that live one? their sound's so... i dunno... so "spy hunter"-esque - Priceless Jazz Sampler - it starts with good morning heartache, rolls on through with some louis armstrong and coltrane... yummy! - The Far Side's Daily Calendar - i tell my coworkers not to read ahead, but they do anyway... so i just sit here and wait day after day to see which one they were laughing at. it's kinda like watching paint dry... - Ebay - it's just way cool. and people are kinda amazed that i have like 55 feedback points... just from buying. and it's interesting to see how much the stuff you have has depreciated in value. - Depeche Mode's "Exciter" - okay. the album's kinda slow. but i'm jazzed about seeing them in concert and that song "dream on" is just really, really nifty. - Sinead O'Connor's "Faith and Courage" - i just have to reiterate how awesome this album is. she's just so underappreciated. fuckin' a. it was just a picture. she didn't shoot the guy for chrissakes! let's move on and listen to her stuff, peoples!

- mp3 car radio systems - okay, my friends are tired to me beating this idea into their minds, but c'mon! 10+ hours of music on one cd! in the car! yum! - the best of filtered dance - features songs like the music sounds better with you and sing it back and it's just a really interesting sound altogether... too bad i forced the album onto Eugene and now he's holding it hostage (even though he didn't really like the album... "too progressive," he said. fine. i'm so misunderstood... ha!) - at the drive-in - relationship of command is just an awesome album altogether... and then i found some free mp3 downloads of their other stuff on a minor label and i think i wet my pants... - chips and salsa - i have one of those cravings... - ozomatli - you know, i kinda feel for them 'cause they got no respect at the warped tour when i first saw them... just like (kool keith?) got the finger at this year's tour... but the difference is that ozomatli is actually fuckin' rad! - pennywise's "about time" - bad ass record... first one i popped into my new car stereo... - L7's "lose your dignity" - little promo i got from a used record store... wonder if it was ever released. really good live recording of L7 in the uk. - bad religion's "all ages" - neat collection of early-ish stuff... - let's go bowling's "freeway lanes" - you know, mr. twist rocks my world... but this is some live stuff that's kinda cool, too. - ani difranco's "fuel" - the song's just a perfect blend of musical excellence and lyrical artistry.

In no particular order: - Missy Elliott's "Get Ur Freak On" - i know, i know. it's kinda annoying, but hey. it still works for me, okay? - Pennywise "Land of the Free?" - and there's a pretty cool cover of a men at work song that you can download from their website - Routine Riot's EP - my friend's band. just went to one of their shows a month or so ago and they're not that bad... - Flogging Molly's "Swagger" and Tsunami Bomb's "Invasion from Within" - it's not really fair to lump these two together, but hey, they both opened for the Living End at the Palace and it made the show that much better... - Nine Inch Nails' "Deep" and the rest of the Tomb Raider Soundtrack - of course, the movie could have been better though. - Sinead O'Connor's "No Man's Woman" - still lovin' that song! - Dixie Chick's "Fly" - Eugene and i love that cowboy take me away song... yay! - coke slurpees from seven eleven. okay, nothing to do with music, but boy are they good! - Alan Jackson's "Everything I Love" - Rush "2112" - been listening to a mixed tape with some old Rush on it.
