Cambridge wasn't as aesthetically appealing as Oxford. But it was a clear day and I took better pictures, so I'm happy!
Punting would have been fun, but doing it with strangers would be freaky. And doing it alone would be stupid.
So, instead, I just sat by and watched a bunch of people bang into each other or the bank. I thought about pointing and laughing,
but I didn't want to get jumped again. Once in Coventry was enough. But I stayed just long enough to see someone capsize. Once again, I heroically resisted the urge to laugh at another's misfortune.
I'm so nice!
But I think that was it. I was a rush to get going for some reason. Maybe I didn't want an educational setting to put a damper on my vacation. It would have just reminded me that I had to write a fifteen page research paper when I got back. |
